How do loft pumps run? our store carries shoes and my experience has been that they run true to size. one disclaimer - most of that experience is with flats and boots as that's what we have now. i think a 6.5 would have been too small. come to think of it, i guess i prefer my flats in a 7 (sandals are heels are better in a 6.5) so maybe. So here's my question: do the clothes at loft run big? what stores that you know of fit sizes correctly, which ones run big, which ones run small? i'm glad to buy a size 8 shorts, but will that also be the case at macy's, etc? second question - going from a size 12 to a size 8: would i say i went down 2 sizes?. Lots of people wear shoes too big for them and it may seem comfortable, but it actually ends up being less comfortable than getting your correct size. adidas is supposed to run true to size. nike runs a half size small, so you would get a half size up.. Within their line of shoes, sizing is pretty consistent. the same cannot necessarily be said about adidas' line -- the ultra boost run very small, while the tubulars/tubular doom/yeezy's run quite large. when you're assessing the size of a shoe, there are two primary factors: length and width.. They actually run a size to a size and a half big (i used to work in a shoe store and i own 15 pairs myself :) ) try them on a size smaller than your normal size--they not a wide shoe but they sure are long..
